Our amazing attendees from Certify Connect 2019 have all landed safely at home. While we’re still unpacking the connections we made—and a few items of event swag—we wanted to share three things we loved about Certify Connect 2019.

Our Guests
The guests and speakers are what make Certify Connect so special. We had nearly 125 guests attending from across North America, representing companies of all sizes and industries ranging from banking to retail.

One of our most well-attended sessions featured current customers for a panel discussion. Mark Brousseau hosted the session featuring finance leaders from national organizations including ALKUPark National Bank, and PM Hotel Group. Their insightful discussion illuminated their unique journeys while offering actionable takeaways for improving how growing companies manage spend.

The networking lunch sponsored by Western Union Business Solutions was an absolute joy. Set on the beautiful Poolside Lawn, attendees were able to mix and mingle while enjoying the finer things in life—delicious hors d’oeuvres, refreshing drinks, and great conversations.

Our Sponsors

We couldn’t be more thankful that our sponsors joined us at Certify Connect.

Our Platinum Sponsor, Western Union Business Solutions, was available to chat with attendees about how WUBS can help them grow internationally. Chris Hopkins, FX Portfolio Manager from WUBS, took special care guiding our guests through the complicated world of international payments and risk management.

This year, Chardell Robinson represented our Gold Sponsor Cadence Travel. As the Business Travel Sales Manager for Cadence Travel, she’s helped numerous companies navigate the twists and turns of managed travel programs. As many of the organization’s in attendance are rapidly growing, understanding the potential of a managed corporate travel program was timely.

Our Sessions
We knew how important it was to have educational sessions that are actionable, and entertaining. Attendees had a chance to receive up to five Abacus and Emburse, two of our sister brands, present their unique solutions at the conference. Abacus unveiled its latest product, Abacus Recruiter, which improves the candidate experience by providing a user-friendly expense solution with clear policies and fast reimbursements.

Emburse also had three sessions to connect with the audience and share their innovative payment technology. They showcased their virtual corporate card programs with built-in policy controls—which opens up a world of possibilities for finance.

As we look back at a successful conference, we can’t help but feel excited about our next event. Stay tuned for more details! Have any comments, concerns, or suggestions for how we can make our next event better for you? We’d love to hear your ideas.
