The Top Three Certify Stories of 2017

The Top Three Certify Stories of 2017

This year has been an eventful one for us at Certify, as all the acquisitions, partnerships and new product launches that took place have kept us pretty busy. Narrowing it down to three took some work, but in another monumental year for us, we felt these stories were among the biggest developments at Certify in 2017. Take a look and see how things have changed:

  1. K1 Investment Management Merges Certify, Nexonia, Tallie and ExpenseWatch
In June, K1 Investment Management invested over $125 million to combine some of the leading expense management vendors Certify, Nexonia, Tallie and ExpenseWatch to form the largest independent expense management software company. Through this combination, over 7,500 customers across the enterprise, mid-market and SMB space will be served with aims to expand our geographic reach soon. We are all excited to finally get all of us together at our year ahead meeting early next year.

  2. Certify Acquires nuTravel Booking Tool, Launches Certify Enterprise Travel
This September, we announced that Certify had acquired nuTravel's online booking platform to enable us to deliver an even greater travel booking service. The acquisition of the technology also allowed us to launch our newest offering, Certify Enterprise Travel. The new enterprise service offers an expanded set of features that are targeted for midsize and enterprise level companies as well as their travel management partners. Certify is committed to building the most expansive and intuitive tool for business travelers, and we will continue adding new features to make the experience even better for our users.

  3. Certify Forms New Partnerships with Lyft and The Parking Spot
Major acquisitions weren't the only big things we did this year as we also signed on some new partners as well. Back in July, we formed new partnerships with ride hailing service provider Lyft as well as parking facility owner and operator, The Parking Spot. By forming these new partnerships with some of the top travel brands around, we will be able to improve the experience for our customers even more than they are used to. Certify is busy looking for new partners to bring onboard in 2018, so keep an eye out for any new announcements.

No doubt, 2017 was a big year for us at Certify and we can't wait for what's next in 2018. Be sure to check back here for all the latest news regarding Certify and if you want to learn more about what Certify can do for your organization, click here.
