Certify User Conference Makes Its First Stop in Dallas

The Certify User Conference launched Tuesday, May 10, in Dallas, Texas, as the first stop in a series of educational events to be held throughout 2016. More than 100 accounting professionals from 50 customer companies were registered to attend a full day of Certify training sessions at the Omni Dallas Hotel including innovative tips, techniques and strategies to increase utilization and maximize product know-how.

Certify president and co-founder Bob Neveu welcomed the group to Dallas and kicked it all off with a brief keynote address. In addition to an overview of audience metrics, recent partnerships and exciting company developments, Bob delivered a summary of Certify’s recent growth and industry accomplishments with a special thanks to our customers for their part in making it all happen.

Attendees were invited to choose from 10 sessions throughout the day, including feature-specific training like the 2:00 session on configuration and usage of the new cash advance, fast-track processing and commuter miles features. Led by Certify product experts, this session showed attendees how to set up cash advance functionality, enable reports without policy violations to be automatically processed, and review how to automatically deduct an employee’s personal commute mileage from their mileage reimbursement.

Another well-attended session on the agenda was with Steve Lackner, director of product specialists for Certify, who presented a review of the top product feature and enhancement releases of the past 12 months. Attendees enjoyed an overview of several key Certify product updates, including the more than 60% of features and enhancements initiated by customer request. From cash advances and policy compliance tools to integrations with leading business travel services like Uber, attendees were pleased to hear about all the ways Certify is working to make travel and expense management even easier.
